Tattooing has always been a part of Bill's life. As a young boy on many trips to Hartford with his mother, he had to be pulled away from the window of Nick Picaro's tattoo shop on Trumble Street. Bill began tattooing in 1975 under the tutelage of "Tattoo" Peter in Amsterdam. During this time Bill began honing his distinct traditional Americana style that he is so well known for. This book is comprised of 60 sheets of color flash with corresponding line drawings. Book includes a Forward by Martin LaCasse and a Conversation: Mark Roberts & Bill Loika.
