The TattooTime series, edited by Ed Hardy, was the tattoo industry's first trade magazine. Spanning 9 years from 1982 to 1991, they contained pictures and tons of information--no advertisements. Even now, years after they went out of print, the issues still are as accurate and informative as they were back in the early 1980s.

Soft-cover, with a full-color front and back, Tattootime was more like a series of mini-books than a magazine. Hardy picked defining themes for each issue and created a series of stories that crossed tattoo culture.

Included with this set, (which contains both new and used TattooTimes 1-5, all in good condition), is a Tattootime Index covering all 5 issues, compiled by Eric Purser of Valdez Tattoo for the Tattoo Archive. The Index is 27 pages and 11 x 8.
